Forget profile pictures on Linkedin and your resumes, soon AI will be able to let you introduce yourself, your business and your services with just a short clip and a photo. Sounds impressive no? Microsoft’s VASA-1 now lets you make a video with just one photo and an audio track. While the result aren’t quite perfect yet, they are impressive.

What about the risks? If all it takes is a photo and an audio clip, technically we can get anyone to endorse anything. The question is how will we mitigate the risks that technologies like these will be used to to mislead and deceive people? As this technology improves rapidly, what is the likelihood that mitigating measures will be able to keep pace with the development of this technology?
